Edward "Buck" Buckner

A California native, Edward, "Buck", Buckner was born in Santa Rosa and raised in Lake Tahoe and Palm Springs. Recognizing the beauty of Sonoma County and its consistent and delightful climate, Buck and his family returned to the city of his birth when he was a teenager. 

Raised with a strong work ethic, Buck began working at age 15. After graduating from Piner High School in 1981, he joined the USN Seabees where he served for 5 years in exotic places such as Guam, Puerto Rico, Sasebo, Japan and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Working with the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion and Pacific Construction Fleet whetted his appetite for homebuilding and construction. Following an honorable discharge, Buck returned to Northern California where he honed his skill as an interior sheetrock finisher. Highly skilled and in great demand, Buck worked for 15 years in Sonoma, Marin and San Francisco Counties.

An avid outdoorsman, Buck enjoys swimming, biking, snow boarding and fishing, as well as staying in shape by hiking with his two dogs, Weezer, a black lab and Alley, a boxer.
